Hardware Design Engineer - Level 1
Annapolis Junction, MD ยท Government/MilitaryOPS Consulting is looking for qualified candidates to fill a Hardware Design Engineer - Level 1 position. The candidate will develop RF PCBs to demonstrate capabilities; research parts for wideband (DC-6GHz) PCBs, created schematics and layouts for PCBs, simulate board in Microwave Office, program microcontrollers on PCB in Python and C, solder components onto PCB, investigate specialized RF applications of implementing a comb generator using a variety of diodes, test multiple revisions of PC; test RF capabilities using Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Network Analyzers. Reverse engineered capabilities: analyze exemplar by identifying microcontrollers of interest to determine firmware extraction method; extract firmware from microcontrollers via JTAG and Dataman, and assist in firmware reverse engineering process.

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering. 5 years of experience may be submitted in lieu of degree.
- 3 to 6 years HDE experience

- A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
