Required Certification:
This position has been designated as requiring CWIP certification and requires one of the following baseline certifications to qualify:
- A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP.
- Note: This is a Day 1 requirement. We cannot consider candidates that do not have one of the above certifications.
Critical Skills:
- Configuration and Maintenance of Virtual Machines
- Linux and Windows operating systems
- Scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Bash, etc.)
- OS and Software application patching (e.g. IAVA, Version updates)
- Attention to detail and time management
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to provide after-hours call-in support
Desired Skills:
- IdAM directories (active directory and/or LDAP)
- Ticket tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Redmine, RT Tracker)
- Networking/Load Balancing
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently and with a team.
Security Clearance:
- A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
