Responsibilities:

As Systems Engineering support at OPS Consulting, you will utilize your expertise in the science of condensed matter or solid-state physics, cryogenics, and modeling and simulation of devices to provide analysis and technical advice/assistance to the customer. You will work closely with customer engineer and technical teams to facilitate complex technology development. Responsibilities may include:
  • Simulating small scale electrical systems
  • Simulating medium-scale behavioral systems
  • Evaluating EM noise characteristics
  • Reviewing experiment and test plan proposals
  • Analyzing and interpreting quantum system test results
Basic Qualifications:
  • Three (3) years' experience with an Intelligence Community or HPC Development Program.
  • Fifteen (15) years' experience in technical roles for Government or Industry customer.
  • Ten (JO) years' experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems to include expertise in systems architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation and process execution and evaluation.
  • Knowledge of SIGINT mission systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Required Skills:
  • Experience developing technical plans for complex capability development
  • Demonstrated expertise in test plans, procedures, and test result analysis
  • Experience writing, reviewing, and presenting technical documentation at the program level
  • Experience with system design and requirements management
  • Experience overseeing technical reviews
Desired Skills:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in Condensed Matter/Solid State Physics, Superconducting Materials or Cryogenics
Security Clearance:
  • A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
