As Systems Engineering support at OPS Consulting, you will utilize your expertise in the science of condensed matter or solid-state physics, cryogenics, and modeling and simulation of devices to provide analysis and technical advice/assistance to the customer. Responsibilities:
As Systems Engineering support at OPS Consulting, you will utilize your expertise in the science of condensed matter or solid-state physics, cryogenics, and modeling and simulation of devices to provide analysis and technical advice/assistance to the customer. You will work closely with customer engineer and technical teams to facilitate complex technology development. Responsibilities may include:
- Simulating small scale electrical systems
- Simulating medium-scale behavioral systems
- Evaluating EM noise characteristics
- Reviewing experiment and test plan proposals
- Analyzing and interpreting quantum system test results
- Three (3) years' experience with an Intelligence Community or HPC Development Program.
- Fifteen (15) years' experience in technical roles for Government or Industry customer.
- Ten (JO) years' experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems to include expertise in systems architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation and process execution and evaluation.
- Knowledge of SIGINT mission systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Experience developing technical plans for complex capability development
- Demonstrated expertise in test plans, procedures, and test result analysis
- Experience writing, reviewing, and presenting technical documentation at the program level
- Experience with system design and requirements management
- Experience overseeing technical reviews
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in Condensed Matter/Solid State Physics, Superconducting Materials or Cryogenics
- A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
